what to expect
The residency is not training. It is the installation of a new operating model in your team, conducted in real work, over two weeks. Your team should be small. Three to six people. The work should be real. Bring the problem your team is actually trying to solve, not a hypothetical.
Cohort I is being selected for fit. Not order of application. We are looking for teams whose work would meaningfully benefit from the methodology and whose leadership is committed to letting the operating model survive after the residency ends.
If your team is ready to install a new operating model, not just buy new tools, the application below is the first step.
Five minutes to complete. We respond within five business days.
We will respond within five business days. In the meantime, the writing might be useful.
Selection is for fit, not for prestige. Three criteria.
1.
Real work, real readiness
Your team is bringing a real problem to the residency, not a hypothetical exercise. The leadership has the authority and intent to let the new operating model persist after the program ends.
2.
Team composition
Three to six people, mixed disciplines. Strong individual contributors with judgment in their domain. Not a delegation of junior staff to be retrained. The people in the room must be the people doing the work.
3.
Fit with the cohort
Cohort I will be composed for cross-pollination. Non-competing companies. Different industries, similar operating challenges. Your team will benefit from the other teams in the cohort as much as from us.
We are targeting Q1 or Q2 2027 for Cohort I. The exact start date will be confirmed once the property is secured and the cohort is finalized.
Northern California, in a property currently being scouted in Napa Valley or the Sonoma coast. The setting is integral to the methodology. It removes the team from the operating environment they are trying to evolve beyond.
Tuition for Cohort I will be communicated once your application advances. The program is priced for serious operators; it is not an entry-level investment. Pilot pricing is available for the first cohort.
No. The residency requires in-person attendance for the full two weeks. The compression of the operating model installation depends on full presence.
Your team returns to your environment with the custom Agent Core trained on your domain. Marliin maintains a post-residency cadence to support the operating model's installation, typically a check-in every two weeks for the first quarter.
Not for Cohort I. Subsequent cohorts may include partial-tuition slots for early-stage companies. Inquiries welcome.
